Paula Aduen, PhD

Dr. Paula Aduen is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and bilingual adult neuropsychologist at Mayo Clinic Florida Department of Psychiatry & Psychology. She completed doctoral training in clinical psychology at the University of Virginia, her clinical internship at the University of Chicago Medicine, and post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Partners Corsortium (MGH/BWH/Harvard Medical School), where she remained as junior faculty within the Multicultural Alzheimer’s Prevention Program (MAPP) for two years. Her research interests include characterization of lifetime chronic stress and resilience among Latinos living in the U.S., especially as it relates to effects on cognition and risk for ADRD. Additional research and clinical interests include multicultural neuropsychology and the utilization of culturally and linguistically appropriate cognitive assessment
