Nathan R. Ramirez, PsyD is a first-year postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Sports Medicine Concussion Program nested within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He obtained his doctorate from the California School of Professional Psychology and completed his pre-doctoral internship at CoxHealth Medical Center/Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, Missouri. His research interests include multicultural neuropsychological assessment, symptom and performance validity assessment, sports-related concussion, and neurodegenerative diseases. Additionally, his clinical focuses include forensic neuropsychological assessment and sport-related/non-sport-related concussion. He has maintained a passion for including Latino populations in his research and strives to help enhance our understanding of how we can address neurodegenerative disorders within this population.
