Melany Medina

Melany is currently a research associate at the UC Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) where she works with the Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement Core to support Alzheimer’s disease research. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis. Her research interests include the integration of biomarkers and neuropsychological assessments for early detection as well as understanding psychosocial outcomes associated with dementia risk and evaluation. She is also interested in improving research accessibility and representation for ethnically and racially diverse groups. Melany hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
