Dr. Melanie Ventura is a bilingual Spanish-English clinical neuropsychology postdoctoral fellow at the University of Virginia Medical Center within the Department of Neurology. She earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Widener University and completed her clinical internship rotations at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Clinical Neuropsychology Associates. Dr. Ventura’s clinical and research interests include performance validity measures in clinical and forensic neuropsychological assessments, assessment of non-native English speakers, cultural and linguistic diversity in neuropsychological evaluations, neurocognitive disorders impacting adults and older adults, and Alzheimer’s disease and movement disorders. She enjoys reading, watching documentaries, and baking French Macarons in her free time.
