Glariangeliz is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Ponce Health & Science University in Puerto Rico. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Puerto Rico- Mayagüez. Regarding research, her interests are related to cognition and risk factors of neurocognitive disorders, specifically Mild Cognitive Impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease. In 2019, she was a summer scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital Multicultural Alzheimer’s Prevention Program (MGH-MAPP). Most recently, she collaborated with the Instituto de Neurología of Dr. Fraga in a Phase III Clinical Trial titled Eli Lilly I5T-MC-AACI: “Assessment of Safety, Tolerability, and Efficacy of Donanemab in Early Symptomatic Alzheimer’s Disease” Additionally, she is part of Dr. Hjalmar Zambrana’s Neuropsychology Laboratory where they study physical activity and neuropsychological performance in Puerto Rican adults.
