Dr. Pathak is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale, transitioning to an independent research position in the near future. She is interested in understanding the role of genomics in neuropsychiatric co-morbidities. Her research focus is supported by K99/R00, Alzheimer’s Association Research Fellowship, and the Yale ADRC scholar award. She served as the leading analyst for the Psychiatric Genomics Consortia – Major Depression working group, Gulf-war project for Million Veteran Program, and the COVID-19 Host Genetics Initiative. She joined Yale after completing her doctoral studies at University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth, Texas. Her graduate work on understanding disrupted genetic variants underlying Alzheimer’s disease earned her numerous awards as a graduate student.
