Tatiana Mercedes, Ed.M, M.S.

Tatiana Mercedes, Ed.M., M.S., is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. She earned her Master of Education in Counseling Psychology with a Bilingual Latina/o Mental Health concentration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University at Buffalo, SUNY.

Her research interests broadly encompass the intersection of culture, cognition, and lifespan development within psychiatric, neurodevelopmental, neurocognitive, and neurodegenerative disorders, particularly among historically underserved and minoritized populations. She is also interested in exploring multipath determinants (biological, psychological, social, and sociocultural) of brain health and their impact on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes. Clinically, her interests focus on health psychology, neuropsychology, and cross-cultural neuropsychology, particularly as they pertain to neuropsychological assessment.
