Malyorie Garcia-Diaz, Psy.D., is a Spanish-English bilingual Clinical Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wien Center for Alzheimer’s Disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center within the 1Florida Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. She completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University and her clinical internship at Citrus Health Network. Her practicum experiences were obtained at the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience and Aging (CNSA) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and at Conviva Care Center. Dr. Garcia-Diaz’s interests include neurocognitive disorders, brain imaging, genomics, and preclinical biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Additionally, her clinical interests and focus are cognitive rehabilitation, administration of neuropsychological assessments, psychoeducation, and psychoanalytic theory (e.g., object relations theory).
