US Consortium of Aging, Dementia & Latino Studies
The main goal of the Consortium is to promote collaborations among investigators working on aging, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in US Latino/Hispanic populations to accelerate research and the discovery of biomarkers, new diagnostics, prevention and treatment.
The Consortium focuses on these key areas:
1) Genomics and biomarkers
2) Cognition and assessment
4) Recruitment and clinical trials
5) Dementia care and psychosocial interventions

Please complete the following survey if you have 1) a background and passion for research involving US Latino populations and 2) an interest in participating in collaborative projects or publications centered around Latinos research. Your submitted form will be reviewed at a Consortium group call. Once review is completed, you will be notified of the decision.
The objectives of the Consortium are to:
* Provide a framework to foster US collaborations among investigators to advance aging, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias research in Latinos/Hispanics;
* Provide a forum for the discussion, development and pursuit of new collaborative studies and research directions;
* Support the development of early career researchers; and
* Advance the knowledge of aging, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias in the US Latino/Hispanic population to improve our understanding of disease etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment in this population.
